Ex-John Connolly pro car. Raced in the CASC series in 1978 and 1980. Continuous history from new. Stored for 10 years by Peter Earle, and then restored. Purchased by Bob Goeldner and successfully campaigned in HSR and SVRA events. Thereafter GMT Racing performed a ground up restoration on the Ralt. Greg Galdi purchased the car and raced it with support from Wehrman Engineering. Steve Scullen acquired the car next, and painted the car in its current Sunoco livery. The car was last raced in 2013, and is represented as ready to go.




The GMT Racing full restoration included a new Marc Bahner tub. The original chassis tag was retained and has been installed on the new tub. Upgrades included Penske shocks by Joe Stimola and new Jongbloed wheels. New bearings, half shafts, plumbing and rod ends were installed. The fuel cells were also replaced. Currently the car has Bill McCurdy built Cosworth BDD with Carillo rods, Venolia pistons, and a new cylinder head and only three races on it. The Hewland FT-200 gearbox is also fresh. The car has a Momo steering wheel, Traqdash data logger.
