During restoration, the chassis was stripped and re-sprayed proper gray. The car received all new bearings and drive line joints. Correct new oil tank, and catch tanks were mounted. The car runs on correct steel Cortina wheels. A new fuel cell was also installed, along with new safety belts.
The engine is a front pump Holbay, with Holbay rocker cover and trumpet on a fresh, strong, Cortina block. The car runs excellent. The Hewland Mk.6 is in very good condition, and comes with several new gears.
The car is finished in period correct, Gold Leaf Team Lotus colors, and looks excellent. The car may also be purchased as a roller for substantially less.
The owner has purchased a new racecar, and needs to sell this one. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a restored, and track proven, historic Lotus Formula Ford for a very good price.
