About Us

The origins of Motorsports Market began in 1993 as a boutique service in San Francisco for acquisitions and sales of high end collector cars and racing cars.

During the next several years the business expanded in size and scope, becoming "InvestCar International." This coincided with a move and expansion of operations into downtown Oakland, California.

In 2003, InvestCar expanded yet again, becoming Motorsports Market. The new name reflects the increased types of products and services now provided. We have also increased personnel and facilities to meet the increased demand for our products and services.

Personnel:

Arthur R. Hebert is an attorney with over two decades of experience buying, restoring, marketing, and researching collector and vintage racing automobiles nationally and internationally. He holds double-major degrees in law and sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University. As an attorney, Mr. Hebert also teaches the state-certified MotorSportsMarket automotive law seminars to dealers throughout California.

Art also periodically works with a variety of new car manufacturers, including Mercedes Benz, Maserati, Lexus, Cadillac, Volvo, Toyota, Chrysler, and others testing, evaluating, and speaking on, new and prototype vehicles. He has also worked with industry consumer experts, J.D Power & Associates, as well as Motor Trend magazine.

In addition to his in-house work at Motorsports Market, Art is currently a factory driver for the Jaguar Select Edition Racing Team.
